Meet Ginger Mercer Z.E.R.O. Field Agent

Meet Ginger Mercer

Z.E.R.O. Field Agent

Some investigators know when to close a case.

Ginger Mercer has never been particularly good at that.

At thirty-two, the former FBI agent has built her career around evidence, observation, and one stubborn belief: if something happened, there has to be an explanation.

Then she encountered something that challenged that belief.

Today, Ginger works as a field agent for Z.E.R.O. — Zero Event Response Organization, investigating cases that don’t always behave the way evidence is supposed to.

She is observant, persistent, resourceful, and notoriously unwilling to leave a question unanswered. Ginger doesn’t automatically believe every strange story she hears. She would much rather find the reasonable explanation.

The problem is that sometimes there isn’t one.

Ginger is still learning just how strange her new career can become—and some answers may lead to questions she never thought to ask.

Ginger Mercer is the first character revealed from the world of Z.E.R.O.

There is much more to her story.

But you’ll have to discover that with her.
